Circulation Policies

1. All materials have a loan period of one week.

2. Primary grades (K-2) can check out 1 book at a time.

3. Intermediate grades (3-5) can check up to 2 books at a time.

4. Overdue fines will not be assessed unless the book is more than 40 days overdue. After forty days, the overdue material is then considered lost. Once the material is "lost," overdue fines will then be added to the cost of replacement.

5. Parents may set up an individual account; this allows up to 6 materials per week.

6. Patrons with outstanding fines, will be unable to borrow any further material until his/her account is settled.

7. Zia Library is willing to work with you, if material is lost or damaged. You may contact the librarian at tamara.dunham@aps.edu.
